Connect Stripe, build products, send invoices, and take one-time or recurring payments inside VC Suite.
Go to Payments → Integrations → Stripe → Connect. OAuth into your existing Stripe account, or create one during the connect flow. Once connected, payments flow through Stripe directly and deposit to your bank per your Stripe payout schedule (usually 2–7 day rolling).
Stripe charges 2.9% + $0.30 per successful US card charge. VC Suite adds no additional fee on top. International cards are 3.9% + $0.30. Disputes and refunds are handled through Stripe's dashboard directly.
In VC Suite go to Payments → Products → + New Product. Create the product, then add prices: one-time or recurring. Recurring prices need an interval (weekly, monthly, annual) and optional trial period. Products sync automatically into Stripe's product catalog.
Generate a payment link from any product page and share it anywhere: email signature, SMS, social post. When a customer clicks, they land on a VC Suite hosted checkout with your branding. Links can be enabled and disabled without rebuilding.
For custom one-off amounts (e.g. custom project work), use Payments → Invoices → + New Invoice. Add line items, set due date, send via email. Invoices support partial payments and automatic late reminders.
Recurring products sold via payment link create a Stripe subscription. You can view active subscriptions under Payments → Subscriptions. For content gating (e.g. a paid community or course), check the Memberships feature which ties subscription status to content access.
Process refunds in either VC Suite or Stripe — they sync. Disputes (chargebacks) require a response within a short window and must be handled in the Stripe dashboard with supporting evidence (delivery confirmation, communication records, signed agreement). Respond within 48 hours of notification.
VC Suite does not automatically calculate sales tax. If you sell in jurisdictions that require tax collection, use Stripe Tax (enabled in your Stripe dashboard) or integrate a tool like TaxJar via Zapier. Consult a CPA for your specific obligations.
