Connecting & Scheduling Social Posts

Plug in Facebook, Instagram, Google Business Profile, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube. Schedule posts in bulk and manage comments from one inbox.

Supported Platforms

VC Suite's Social Planner natively supports Facebook Pages, Instagram Business, Google Business Profile, LinkedIn (personal + company pages), TikTok Business, and YouTube. Pinterest and X (Twitter) are available via Zapier. Threads and BlueSky are on the roadmap but not native yet.

Connect an Account

Go to Marketing → Social Planner → Accounts → + Add. Pick the platform, authenticate via OAuth, and grant the permissions requested. For Facebook and Instagram, you must have a Facebook Business Page and an Instagram Business or Creator account linked to it — personal Instagram accounts cannot post via API (this is Meta's policy, not ours).

Business Verification

Google Business Profile requires verification before posting. If your business has not been verified by Google, you will need to complete that first (postcard, phone, or video verification depending on business type).

Create a Post

Go to Social Planner → + New Post. Write copy, upload image or video, tag accounts if supported, and pick which platforms to cross-post to. Each platform has different character limits and media specs — the editor warns you when you exceed a limit or upload an unsupported format.

Platform-Specific Tweaks

Instead of posting identical copy everywhere, use the Customize per platform toggle to adjust. LinkedIn gets a professional tone, Instagram gets hashtags, Facebook gets conversation, TikTok gets a hook in the first 3 seconds. The same post copied blindly across platforms performs worst on every platform.

Scheduling & Bulk Upload

Schedule a single post for a future date or use Bulk Schedule to upload a CSV with dates, captions, and media URLs for dozens of posts at once. Bulk is ideal for a monthly content calendar planned in advance.

Best Time to Post

Use the Best Time suggestion feature (based on your audience's engagement history). For new accounts without enough history, industry averages: LinkedIn Tue–Thu 8–10 AM; Instagram Tue–Fri 11 AM–1 PM; Facebook weekdays 9 AM–12 PM. Adjust based on your own analytics after 4–6 weeks.

Comments & Replies

Inbound comments across Facebook and Instagram appear in the unified Conversations inbox. Reply there and the reply posts back natively. This keeps you from having to check five separate apps.
